Living and working most of my life in the South, through my artwork I try to attempt to capture the vivid storytelling characteristics native to the Deep South by using color most of all.  I love color!!!  Van Gough, Henri Matisse and Edward Hopper have to be my top three influences when it comes to painting.  I am self-taught and can do most anything I put my mind too, whether it is sewing, painting, metal work or building.  I use recycled or reclaimed materials whenever possible.  I have tried my hand at it all and am proud to say I still have all ten fingers!!!
